The annual City Open House is fast approaching. It is one of the biggest and most anticipated public engagement activities hosted by the City.
Where is it? Co-op Place Rec Hall (4513 50 Avenue)
When is it? Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What can you do at the open house? The open house is a great way to interact with City staff who you might not normally see and ask them questions about their role with the City. It’s a great opportunity to put names to faces and learn about all the services and programs the City provides for residents.
But it’s not just an educational opportunity. There will be other activities, such as:
Complete the Open House Passport Quiz and enter your name in a draw for the GRAND PRIZE!
Who will be there? Everyone is invited! Bring your family, grab your neighbour or colleague, and join us for lunch!
City staff will be working the grill and there will be representatives from every City department on hand to chat with, including:
Administration
Airport
Economic Development
Enforcement
Engineering
Finance
Fire Services
Fleet and Facilities
Planning and Development
Public Works (Parks, Transportation, Waste and Recycling)
Recreation
A few external partners will be joining us too, like Aquatera and the Wetaskiwin District Heritage Museum Centre.
