You are invited to provide input on Bylaw 2083-24, a proposed bylaw to add Limited Group Home and Group Home as discretionary uses in the R2 Low Density Residential District. This amendment would allow for the development of group homes providing care and supervision to up to eight residents.

Bylaw 2083-24 received first reading at the January 13, 2025 Regular Council meeting. It is available for review in the agenda document for that meeting at Wetaskiwin.ca.

If you wish to address Council on this matter, you must register to speak by contacting Planning and Development at the phone number or email address below, no later than 4:00 p.m. on February 6, 2025.

If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may submit written comments to be presented to Council at the public hearing. Written submissions must be received by 4:00 p.m. on February 6, 2025, and may be delivered to City Hall, emailed to elisabeth.hill@wetaskiwin.ca, or mailed to:
