Public Hearing for Bylaw 2098-25 to amend Land Use Bylaw 1804-13

You are invited to provide input on Bylaw 2098-25. This bylaw would revise the definition of Small Animal Kennel and allow Small Animal Kennel as a discretionary use with specific use regulations in the C3 Highway Commercial district.
Bylaw 2098-25 received first reading at the December 9, 2025 Regular Council meeting. It is available for review in the agenda document for that meeting at Wetaskiwin.ca.
If you wish to address Council on this matter, you must register to speak by contacting Planning and Development at the phone number or email address below, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026.
If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may submit written comments to be presented to Council at the public hearing. Written submissions must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026 and may be delivered to City Hall, emailed to planning@wetaskiwin.ca, or mailed to:
