Despite being limited due to the restrictions as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Wetaskiwinites still found creative and wonderful ways to celebrate Canada Day in a meaningful way by decorating their homes and businesses to bring some beautification and joy to Wetaskiwin residents!

Here we are in second year of restrictions due to the pandemic. But we can still celebrate Canada's birthday by decorating our homes and businesses to bring some beautification and joy to city residents!
There will be 10 contest finalists ($250 awarded per winner). The community will cast votes to determine a Grand Prize winner from the 10 contest finalists. The Grand Prize winner will receive an additional $500 in prize money!
So let's decorate!

Take a great picture of all your hard work!
Complete the contest entry form—including a photo of your home/business—below from now to July 4, 2021
Wetaskiwin City Council members will choose their top 10 finalists! Each finalist will receive $250!
We will post photos of the 10 finalists below by July 7, 2021. The community will vote to determine the Grand Prize winner from July 7 to July 14, 2021.
Did you decorate but didn't want to enter the contest? Maybe you entered the contest and want to make sure everyone comes to look at your handiwork? Visit the MAP below and pin your address to let everyone know that you've got some great Canadian spirit to share!
